About PVF

About the PVF Roundtable

The PVF Roundtable is a nonprofit networking organization dedicated to connecting professionals and companies in the pipe, valve, and fittings (PVF) industry. Based in Houston, Texas—one of the world’s leading energy hubs—our members represent a critical segment of the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, and utility industries.

Founded more than 30 years ago by a small group of industry professionals, the PVF Roundtable has grown into a vibrant community of over 280 member companies. Our organization is entirely volunteer-driven, with members who are passionate about strengthening the PVF industry through collaboration, networking, and mentorship.

Throughout the year, the PVF Roundtable hosts networking meetings and industry events that bring together professionals from across the PVF supply chain. These gatherings provide opportunities to build relationships, share industry insights, and learn from distinguished speakers and industry leaders.

Future Workforce

Investing in the Future of the Industry

A core mission of the PVF Roundtable is supporting the next generation of industry professionals. To further this goal, we established the PVF Roundtable Charitable Foundation, which raises funds to support education and workforce development.

Through scholarships and endowment programs, the Foundation provides financial support to students pursuing careers in engineering as well as those entering the skilled trades such as machining and welding. Over the years, the organization has expanded its support to universities, trade schools, and technical programs across Texas and Louisiana.

These initiatives are funded through the generosity of our members and through charitable events such as our Annual Golf Tournament and TroutBlast Fishing Tournament, which raise both awareness and critical funding for education programs.

Join the professionals shaping the PVF industry

The PVF Roundtable also invests in emerging leaders through its Young Professionals (YP) Committee. This group provides early-career industry professionals with additional opportunities for networking, professional development, and mentorship from experienced industry leaders.

Young Professionals participate in industry education sessions, networking events, volunteer projects, and fundraising activities that support the organization’s charitable mission.

Built on Connection

Strengthening the PVF Community

For more than three decades, the PVF Roundtable has remained committed to building relationships, advancing industry knowledge, and supporting workforce development in the PVF sector. As the organization continues to grow, our focus remains on creating value for our members while strengthening the future of the industry.

We invite you and your company to get involved and become part of the PVF Roundtable community.
